Based in Panama City, FL, the now re-formed Jam Therapy is back on the scene, delivering a refreshingly classic rock sound in the modern context. Simply put, Jam Therapy succeeds where many relevant modern acts fail: they rock, they groove, and they are masterful performers. JT highlights four extremely gifted young musicians who have a deep appreciation and understanding of rock's greatest composers and showmen in history - they wear these influences on their sleeves. All of these elements combine to create something very special: a true rock revival.
The band is comprised of Garrett J. Brown grooving with beautiful chords on guitar, Chase "The Ace" Morgan thundering away at the bass, Alejandro "Bob" Rios burning up the neck of his lead guitar, and - a recent addition - Joseph Melancon (a.k.a. BEEF... or sometimes Egon...) laying down an agressive and versatile rhythm on the drums. Originally formed in 2009, Jam Therapy have won the hearts of many in the Southeastern United States. Not only have they placed first in various "battle of the bands" events, but they have been a favorite act at several festivals in the St. Andrews area.
Jam Therapy is now poised to take over the musical world and shake things up. With the current line-up still fresh out of the box, the band are on a manic creative spree soon to be unleashed. If you haven't heard of Jam Therapy until now, fear not. The dog days are nearly over. Keep your eyes and ears open for the best debut album you've heard in a long time.
